The corner led New Loser FC's 莫亦博 to fire away a dangerous shot which Augusto Demaria despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rikard Göransson in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Augusto Demaria saved Tormenta EC from getting behind. After 12 minutes, Rikard Göransson made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Tormenta EC's Augusto Demaria tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Rikard Göransson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Augusto Demaria was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. After 19 played minutes Tormenta EC got a freekick which was hit by Oscar Saldanha. In the 21st minute, Rogério Vieira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Oscar Saldanha came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Tormenta EC fans jumped to their feet. Janar Lehismets took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Magno Garcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Augusto Demaria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rikard Göransson in the 28th minute of the match. If Beto França had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute Rikard Göransson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augusto Demaria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. New Loser FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 47th minute, when Magno Garcia scored to the left of an out of position Janar Lehismets, making the score, 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

57 minutes into the game, Magno Garcia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Janar Lehismets was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Janar Lehismets showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Magno Garcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Rikard Göransson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Augusto Demaria read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Janar Lehismets made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beto França in the 70th minute of play.
