Celso de Queirós was slow to take the kick. During this time Tormenta EC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Celso de Queirós got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Melquiades Amor quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the game's 6th minute Tormenta EC's Celso de Queirós took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Melquiades Amor and thus the score was 0-1. Edmundo Valle hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Melquiades Amor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Magno Garcia in the 10th minute of play. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Melquiades Amor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beto França in the 13th minute of play. Celso de Queirós hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. 15 minutes into the match, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Cícero da Costa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Augusto Demaria narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Melquiades Amor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernard Dyczkowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. After 33 minutes of play, Tormenta EC's Magno Garcia made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Melquiades Amor was left in no man's land by his defense there! 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Celso de Queirós was slow to take the kick. During this time Tormenta EC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Tormenta EC's Celso de Queirós to fire away a dangerous shot which Melquiades Amor despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Melquiades Amor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beto França in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arí Machado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Melquiades Amor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Magno Garcia in the 54th minute of the match. In the 55th minute Beto França shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Amor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Magno Garcia in the 58th minute of play forced CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's goalkeeper Melquiades Amor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Melquiades Amor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Magno Garcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. The audience was convinced that Magno Garcia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Melquiades Amor was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Melquiades Amor was a little too slow when Bernard Dyczkowski got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 76th minute. The score was now 0-4. Tormenta EC's Lenílson Carneiro was substituted for Beto França. Edmundo Valle kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. After 84 played minutes CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA got a freekick which was hit by Edmundo Valle. Melquiades Amor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Magno Garcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Melquiades Amor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA from getting a goal against them. Tormenta EC played a much better game than CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA and deserved their victory. The CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
