Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Galo do Japi's Carlos Santana started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Janar Lehismets made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Santana in the 4th minute of play. Carlos Santana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Janar Lehismets made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cafu Ringaa in the 14th minute of play. After some careless play in the New Loser FC defense, Cafu Ringaa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Janar Lehismets. The New Loser FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Janar Lehismets should have stopped the shot. 18 minutes into the match, New Loser FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Santana came free, but Janar Lehismets reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 20 minutes into the game, Carlos Santana cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Janar Lehismets was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 23rd match minute, New Loser FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karhan Siralp to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Santana in the 25th minute of play forced New Loser FC's goalkeeper Janar Lehismets to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the match, New Loser FC's Karhan Siralp sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ronaldo Giovanelli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 36th minute Carlos Santana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Janar Lehismets saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vito Melo hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Karhan Siralp made a kick off. When Maurinho da Silva fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored New Loser FC's protests and gave Maurinho da Silva a yellow card for diving instead. Belmiro Caca-Rato made in the 54th minute of the game a quick throw-in and César dos Santos immediately put the ball in play. 57 minutes into the match, Galo do Japi's Sokratis Krak sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Janar Lehismets narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ronaldo Giovanelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karhan Siralp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sokratis Krak took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Janar Lehismets. Janar Lehismets dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. 62 minutes into the game, Paulo Renato Saraiva cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Janar Lehismets was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 66th minute, Karhan Siralp made a precise shot to the right of Ronaldo Giovanelli. Galo do Japi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. Galo do Japi's Ronaldo Giovanelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karhan Siralp in the 72nd minute of play. In the 85th minute, Karhan Siralp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A well-hit corner resulted in Belmiro Caca-Rato heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 91st match minute, Galo do Japi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sokratis Krak to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to New Loser FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Joakim Asserlind hit a great ball. The supporters of Galo do Japi booed when New Loser FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henrique de Salles didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match was over Galo do Japi could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than New Loser FC throughout the match.
