Luiz Eduardo Galvão had in the 10thth minute some difficulties stopping Michel Siqueira's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zico Galo in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luiz Eduardo Galvão prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luiz Eduardo Galvão made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Ferid Eker sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Aesir FC FSCMZ getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Anselmo Fantini hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ferid Eker got free with Luiz Eduardo Galvão in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zico Galo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luiz Eduardo Galvão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Luiz Eduardo Galvão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zico Galo's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Iker Hidalgo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sydney Ramalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The audience was convinced that Zico Galo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luiz Eduardo Galvão was relentless in the 51st minute of the game.
