The corner went over the outstretched arms of FC Bal op het Dak's goalie and right to Lacy Ericsson. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. FC Bal op het Dak's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Juhan Kersna kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Aaron Glanselius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dan Kjellman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner led to FC Bal op het Dak's Eddy Neijsen getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. FC Bal op het Dak's Aristides Gombal was substituted for Shaq Francis.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Martijn August was the one to do the kick off.
