Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Mete Nared managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vila Nova FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mete Nared was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Vila Nova FC's Jiang Nan Han got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 11th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fiori Mota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 20 in the game by Mete Nared from a close distance when the talented Julio Vera managed to make a qualified save. Ecuador's players were relieved. Mete Nared did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Julio Vera 20 minutes into the match. 23 minutes into the game, Vila Nova FC's Vladimir Lara nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Fiori Mota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fiori Mota showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 42nd minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luca Postelnicescu made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Mete Nared made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. If Vladimir Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mete Nared in the 62nd minute of play. Mete Nared scored 4-0 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vila Nova FC's Fiori Mota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 66th minute of play. Primitivo Andino kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luca Postelnicescu's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Luca Postelnicescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fiori Mota showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 83rd minute of the match. After having played for 86 minutes, Luca Postelnicescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vila Nova FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luca Postelnicescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 89th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 93rd minute of play forced Vila Nova FC's goalkeeper Fiori Mota to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
