Lautaro Puig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Kleen having to interfere. In the 7th minute, Turkka Paatelainen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Erotica Sensation fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Erotica Sensation's Turkka Paatelainen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benito Sanz. That made the score 2-0 after 12 minutes of play. When Eliseo Noboa came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Costa Rica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliseo Noboa couldn't finish the play. Alan Moruga kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Felix Skark sent off a good shot on target. Felix Skark came free with the goalkeeper in the 23rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Benito Sanz could save by the left post. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Felix Skark tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Lautaro Puig hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute, Felix Skark left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Erotica Sensation fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. In the 41st minute, Turkka Paatelainen made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. 48 minutes into the game, Jan-Ove Ånger cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Axel Tasis made the kick off in the second half. If Felix Skark had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 58 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Skark came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Alexander Carballo fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Turkka Paatelainen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. In the 71stth minute of the game Turkka Paatelainen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felix Skark in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. Lautaro Puig's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Simon Kleen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Skark came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Turkka Paatelainen's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Turkka Paatelainen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Axel Tasis got free with Simon Kleen in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Erotica Sensation's Simon Kleen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Erotica Sensation from getting a goal against them. 89 minutes into the game, Turkka Paatelainen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 92 played minutes Erotica Sensation got a freekick which was hit by Turkka Paatelainen. Simon Kleen made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Axel Tasis sent off a good shot on target. There was no doubt that Erotica Sensation were the better team. Erotica Sensation's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
