After 79 played minutes Morabem EC got a freekick which was hit by Oséias Paiva. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mito Kroos in the 85th minute of play forced INTER FC's goalkeeper Basílio Maranhense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. INTER FC's Basílio Maranhense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mito Kroos in the 86th minute of play. Fabinho de Brito kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. The score was 0-0 after 90 minutes, which forced the match into extra-time.

INTER FC's Luisinho Barbosa got a good chance for a goal in the 102nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 109 minutes into the match, Morabem EC's goal looked a bit too open when Benê Simão came free, but Cido Peres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 109 minutes into the game, Mito Kroos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
