In the 8th match minute, Bem Bolado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amílton Favoretto to maneuver through the defense. Olov Tham struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Cauã Pitta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Baxters Boys. Bem Bolado's Cauã Pitta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olov Tham in the 15th minute of play. Baxters Boys's Jan Moberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Baxters Boys from getting a goal against them. Wilton Ferraz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Jan Moberg made a huge save. Jan Moberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wilton Ferraz in the 32nd minute. Olov Tham took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cauã Pitta. Cauã Pitta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 38 minutes into the match, Baxters Boys's goalkeeper Jan Moberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wilton Ferraz. Leif Abelsson scored 0-3 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cauã Pitta, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 43 played minutes Bem Bolado got a freekick which was hit by Adilson de Queirós.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Olov Tham to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Edmund Olsman made a precise shot to the right of Cauã Pitta. Bem Bolado's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Olov Tham could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Cauã Pitta made a huge save. Cauã Pitta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emanuel Bark in the 59th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olov Tham in the 65th minute of play forced Bem Bolado's goalkeeper Cauã Pitta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Bem Bolado's goal looked a bit too open when Olov Tham came free, but Cauã Pitta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Baxters Boys's Olov Tham got a free kick in the 66th minute. Baxters Boys's Alexander Klint was substituted for Johan Dalström. In the 67th minute, Olov Tham hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrado Gonçalves in the 74th minute of play forced Baxters Boys's goalkeeper Jan Moberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 77 minutes, Leif Abelsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Baxters Boys and the Bem Bolado players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Baxters Boys getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Leif Abelsson hit a great ball. Evert Lindström hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Cauã Pitta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Olov Tham went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Bem Bolado's Conrado Gonçalves suffered a concussion in the 85th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Per Strömqvist charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Per Strömqvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Per Strömqvist hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Baxters Boys's Edmund Olsman slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cauã Pitta. That made the score 0-6 after 91 minutes of play.

When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Baxters Boys had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
