Spectators: 7910 (Terracing: 5934, Seating: 1819, VIP seats: 157) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marco Lio started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Virgil Vergulescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Landin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 7 minutes into the game, Marco Lio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Cezar Ghinescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cezar Ghinescu was out of position in the 10 minute of play, and Martin Ström capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Martin Ström really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. After a rather tough play, Rovine Craiova's Iordache Andone got a free kick in the 13th minute. Iordache Andone hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. When Kristian Ugla came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the FC Kurdistan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kristian Ugla couldn't finish the play. Marco Lio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Cezar Ghinescu made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in FC Kurdistan's zone, Silviu Stoian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonas Landin came out of the goal and Silviu Stoian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When FC Kurdistan's Joseph Damm in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rovine Craiova's goalie prevented a goal. Dacian Patrichi hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. 41 minutes into the game, Rovine Craiova's Dacian Patrichi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonas Landin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After 45 played minutes Rovine Craiova got a freekick which was hit by Viorel Apolzan. FC Kurdistan's Bengt-Rune Kullander was substituted for Martin Ström. The long shot by Kristian Ugla in the 47th minute really tested Cezar Ghinescu's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Virgil Vergulescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the game, Sandu Munteanu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Jonas Landin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cezar Ghinescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Lio, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Jonas Landin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Virgil Vergulescu's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Rovine Craiova's zone, Joseph Damm stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cezar Ghinescu came out of the goal and Joseph Damm tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC Kurdistan made a substitution. Mattias Åhlberg replaced Joseph Damm. In the 90th minute, Matei Comișel reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jonas Landin. The goal made the score 2-3. After a rather tough play, Rovine Craiova's Virgil Vergulescu got a free kick in the 92nd minute.
