Kléber Pernambucano's late challenge caught a SV Klingsmoos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kléber Pernambucano helped the player get up and apologised. Kléber Pernambucano hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. SV Klingsmoos's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Richard Ganz in the 24th minute. The coaching staff of SV Klingsmoos protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Caspar Rother had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a defensive mix-up in SV Klingsmoos's zone, Abelardo Sá stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Waldemar Roppel came out of the goal and Abelardo Sá tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

50 minutes into the match, SV Klingsmoos's goal looked a bit too open when Kléber Pernambucano came free, but Waldemar Roppel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Giovanni Bodin got free with Doriva Simão in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Classe A Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Abelardo Sá hit a great ball. Giovanni Bodin might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Doriva Simão. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Giovanni Bodin ran back to his position shaking his head. Doriva Simão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giacomo Zerres, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kléber Pernambucano in the 69th minute of play forced SV Klingsmoos's goalkeeper Waldemar Roppel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st match minute, SV Klingsmoos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igor Eckert to maneuver through the defense.
