Rodrigo Bobadilla blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Quinton Pujol having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Los Colegas del Barrio's zone, Rodrigo Bobadilla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Quinton Pujol came out of the goal and Rodrigo Bobadilla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 19 minutes into the game, Xesc Astudillo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Pastor Roderigo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xesc Astudillo in the 24th minute of play forced Wrexham AFC's goalkeeper Pastor Roderigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pastor Roderigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xesc Astudillo in the 30th minute of the match. Federico Gaillard hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute, Rosendo Fidencio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wrexham AFC's Pastor Roderigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heriberto Benito in the 36th minute of play. In the 40th minute Xesc Astudillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pastor Roderigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xesc Astudillo scored 0-2 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pastor Roderigo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Wrexham AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Los Colegas del Barrio were winning 0-2.

53 minutes into the game, Agustin Bobadilla was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wrexham AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Colegas del Barrio the free kick. When Rodrigo Bobadilla came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Wrexham AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodrigo Bobadilla couldn't finish the play. Federico Gaillard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quinton Pujol having to interfere. The supporters of Wrexham AFC booed when Los Colegas del Barrio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ignacio Jauregui didn't get a good kick on the ball. 72 minutes into the game, Xesc Astudillo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pastor Roderigo. Xesc Astudillo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. Higinio Petri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Quinton Pujol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rodrigo Bobadilla in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Quinton Pujol saved Los Colegas del Barrio from getting behind. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Los Colegas del Barrio eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
