Kjell-Arne Lindberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Jannich Brolyng tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th minute, Edmund Runberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jannich Brolyng was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Saco FC's Wolfgang Bartolini got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Edmund Runberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jannich Brolyng was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Arnold Binau kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Saco FC's Jannich Brolyng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmund Runberg in the 23rd minute of play. Viktor Hurvig hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. A collision led to Saco FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Arnold Binau hit a great ball. Edmund Runberg struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Jannich Brolyng didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AC Mayonnaise. If Thorbjørn Engsholm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rdth minute of the game Edmund Runberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Saco FC's Jannich Brolyng was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Siegmund Milow recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in AC Mayonnaise's zone, Wolfgang Bartolini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Harald Carlberg came out of the goal and Wolfgang Bartolini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edmund Runberg made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Edmund Runberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AC Mayonnaise fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Jannich Brolyng made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Kjell-Arne Lindberg sent off a good shot on target. A hard shot 81 in the game by Edmund Runberg from a close distance when the talented Jannich Brolyng managed to make a qualified save. Saco FC's players were relieved. Edmund Runberg was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 82nd minute. AC Mayonnaise's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 86th minute of the match, Edmund Runberg tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jannich Brolyng saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Jannich Brolyng made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Stig-Arne Ödman sent off a good shot on target. In the 88th minute, Kjell-Arne Lindberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AC Mayonnaise fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Edmund Runberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 97th minute, Edmund Runberg reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jannich Brolyng. The goal made the score 0-5.
