The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Harald Carlberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Nemesio Firman made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Edmund Runberg sent off a good shot on target. When Bendito Sea El Fernet's Joaquin Rosio in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AC Mayonnaise's goalie prevented a goal. Harald Carlberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabio Machado in the 23rd minute of the match. AC Mayonnaise's Harald Carlberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquin Rosio in the 26th minute of play. Harald Carlberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquin Rosio, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 33 minutes into the match, Bendito Sea El Fernet's goal looked a bit too open when Kjell-Arne Lindberg came free, but Nemesio Firman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 33 minutes into the game, Lorenzo Bortzaioriz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bendito Sea El Fernet's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AC Mayonnaise the free kick. The supporters of Bendito Sea El Fernet booed when AC Mayonnaise was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmund Runberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. 47 minutes into the match, AC Mayonnaise's goal looked a bit too open when Fabio Machado came free, but Harald Carlberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Augusto Osasun was the one to do the kick off. Sune Sjöö kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Bendito Sea El Fernet's Niceto Lluciano shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 54th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Harald Carlberg but with some difficulty. After a rather tough play, AC Mayonnaise's Walter Mårtensson got a free kick in the 55th minute. After 56 minutes, Jonny Cane mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AC Mayonnaise and the Bendito Sea El Fernet players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 60 minutes of play AC Mayonnaise's Jonny Cane was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 61 played minutes AC Mayonnaise got a freekick which was hit by Jonny Cane. Stig-Arne Ödman kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Augusto Osasun received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Harald Carlberg came out and tried to block the shot, but Augusto Osasun slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 68th minute. After 72 played minutes AC Mayonnaise got a freekick which was hit by Edmund Runberg. Stig-Arne Ödman charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stig-Arne Ödman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Augusto Osasun came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Bendito Sea El Fernet fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augusto Osasun couldn't finish the play. Kjell-Arne Lindberg hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. After 87 minutes, Sune Lidberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AC Mayonnaise and the Bendito Sea El Fernet players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to AC Mayonnaise getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Sune Lidberg hit a great ball. In the 88th minute, Niceto Lluciano sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and AC Mayonnaise's Harald Carlberg didn't even have to move. Bendito Sea El Fernet's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
