Östen Walroth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iulian Doinaș in the 7th minute of play. A collision led to Paralia Athens getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Teodor Romeo hit a great ball. After 17 minutes, Walter Mårtensson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AC Mayonnaise and the Paralia Athens players grew even worse after the yellow card. Walter Mårtensson hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. 19 minutes into the match, Paralia Athens's Iulian Doinaș sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Östen Walroth narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 20thth minute of the game Petre Maghiran who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AC Mayonnaise's Östen Walroth was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Petre Maghiran in the 20thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Östen Walroth, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Östen Walroth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petre Maghiran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the match, Paralia Athens's Petre Maghiran sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Östen Walroth narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Petre Maghiran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th match minute, Paralia Athens was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iulian Doinaș to maneuver through the defense. Cristian Nicolescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kjell-Arne Lindberg in the 35th minute of play. The Paralia Athens fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Paralia Athens's Petre Maghiran looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Petre Maghiran in the 41stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Östen Walroth, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. AC Mayonnaise's Östen Walroth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petre Maghiran in the 42nd minute of play. In the 47th minute of the match, Petre Maghiran got a very nice opportunity to score, but Östen Walroth was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Iulian Doinaș made the kick off in the second half. Östen Walroth didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Petre Maghiran went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. 59 minutes into the match, Paralia Athens's goalkeeper Cristian Nicolescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edmund Runberg. 63 minutes into the match, Petre Maghiran had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Östen Walroth. AC Mayonnaise's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Petre Maghiran was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Petre Maghiran managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paralia Athens's supporters rose to their feet, but Petre Maghiran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Östen Walroth breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 68th match minute, AC Mayonnaise was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmund Runberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th match minute, Paralia Athens was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iulian Doinaș to maneuver through the defense. 74 minutes into the match, Paralia Athens's Petre Maghiran sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Östen Walroth narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of AC Mayonnaise booed when Paralia Athens was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vasile Enciulescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. AC Mayonnaise's Östen Walroth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petre Maghiran in the 90th minute of play. If Iulian Doinaș had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Iulian Doinaș recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paralia Athens's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
