Åsnes's supporters rose to their feet, but Dan Ødegaard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristian Ciorăscu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristian Ciorăscu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rune Gjessing's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. If Isac Angelescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Ciorăscu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rune Gjessing, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Cristian Ciorăscu came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Åsnes's Kristian Sandersen. But to his dismay, Kristian Sandersen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 34th minute Rune Gjessing shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Ciorăscu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 42 minutes of play, Åsnes's Edgard Leirvåg made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristian Ciorăscu was left in no man's land by his defense there! 46 minutes into the match, Vlashers's goal looked a bit too open when Rune Gjessing came free, but Cristian Ciorăscu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Vlashers's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Leirvåg came free, but Cristian Ciorăscu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vasile Moromete to strike the kick off in the second half. Cristian Ciorăscu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kristian Sandersen in the 58th minute of the match. After 59 played minutes Åsnes got a freekick which was hit by Aleksander Ånestad. After a rather tough play, Åsnes's Dan Ødegaard got a free kick in the 61st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Vlashers's zone, Kristian Sandersen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristian Ciorăscu came out of the goal and Kristian Sandersen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristian Ciorăscu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rune Gjessing in the 70th minute. The supporters of Åsnes booed when Vlashers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vasile Moromete didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vlashers's Sabin Toma was substituted for Vasile Moromete. In the 75th minute, Vasile Moromete hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Edgard Leirvåg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Kristian Sandersen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cristian Ciorăscu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rune Gjessing in the 79th minute. If Emilian Vaida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Ciorăscu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgard Leirvåg, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 89th minute, Dan Ødegaard ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristian Ciorăscu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sabin Toma in the 92nd minute of play forced Åsnes's goalkeeper Christer Waaler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rune Gjessing was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 95th minute. Åsnes's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When the match was over Åsnes could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Vlashers throughout the match.
