The audience thought a goal was coming when Suat Kaya got free with Jesper Blomberg in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 24 played minutes Genk got a freekick which was hit by Vergil Rupov. Jannes Van Leempoel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Håvard Kvalø in the 25th minute of the match.
