After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Simon Schachner managed to get in a good position for a shot. BiBa's supporters rose to their feet, but Simon Schachner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Damiano Battisti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 44th minute, Amedeo Moriggi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

A collision led to BiBa getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Klaus Vollmari hit a great ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Simon Schachner couldn't finish the play. In the 72nd minute Eurospeed Asti were awarded a corner. Fausto Pinti went to the cornerflag to take it. Eurospeed Asti's Fausto Pinti was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Stefan Wrobel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Stefan Wrobel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amedeo Moriggi's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. The supporters of Eurospeed Asti booed when BiBa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tobias Reimann didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amedeo Moriggi charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Eurospeed Asti had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
