Rasnita's Nechifor Curuțiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Algitas Girkantas in the 38th minute of play. 45 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rasnita's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Agnius Pocius was slow to take the kick. During this time Absoliut's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Osvaldas Nutautas almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Rasnita's Nechifor Curuțiu did a great save. Marius Stankevičius was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 46 minutes into the match. After 46 played minutes Absoliut got a freekick which was hit by Marius Stankevičius. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

Iustinian Pistol kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Osvaldas Nutautas kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Vygandas Damašas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Condrea in the 69th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iustinian Pistol in the 71st minute of play forced Absoliut's goalkeeper Vygandas Damašas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Šarūnas Žvigaitis came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Absoliut fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Šarūnas Žvigaitis couldn't finish the play. Nechifor Curuțiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Šarūnas Žvigaitis in the 75th minute of the match. Vygandas Damašas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iustinian Pistol, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Absoliut's Alfonsas Račinskas quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Gelu Filip, made in the 87th minute of the game. 88 minutes into the match, Absoliut's Šarūnas Žvigaitis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nechifor Curuțiu narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Absoliut had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
