Spectators: 439 (Terracing: 330, Seating: 101, VIP seats: 8) 4 minutes into the game, Octavio Gorosti cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Tadeo Distiratsu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jarana FC's Wilfredo Gitano got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavio Gorosti in the 17th minute of play forced Jarana FC's goalkeeper Tadeo Distiratsu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Falckner FC's Anastasio Maldonado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfredo Gitano in the 21st minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Jarana FC's goal looked a bit too open when Octavio Gorosti came free, but Tadeo Distiratsu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aurelio Harriet took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anastasio Maldonado. Anastasio Maldonado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Qiao Jian Ping kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 33rd minute Octavio Gorosti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeo Distiratsu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Octavio Gorosti got free with Tadeo Distiratsu in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Octavio Gorosti came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Falckner FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Octavio Gorosti couldn't finish the play. Tadeo Distiratsu came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Falckner FC's Octavio Gorosti. But to his dismay, Octavio Gorosti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Anastasio Maldonado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilfredo Gitano, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aurelio Harriet stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Falckner FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquilino Rozarius to maneuver through the defense. 56 minutes into the match, Jarana FC's goal looked a bit too open when Octavio Gorosti came free, but Tadeo Distiratsu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wilfredo Gitano got free with Anastasio Maldonado in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Jarana FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Qiao Jian Ping hit a great ball. Falckner FC's Gianluca Vialli was substituted for Octavio Gorosti. In the 62nd minute Gianluca Vialli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeo Distiratsu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aurelio Harriet in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anastasio Maldonado saved Falckner FC from getting behind. Jarana FC's Qiao Jian Ping quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Andres Maiorga, made in the 67th minute of the game. Falckner FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Wilfredo Gitano 69 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-2. In the 72nd minute Wilfredo Gitano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anastasio Maldonado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amadeo Cai hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. 77 minutes into the game, Falckner FC's Gianluca Vialli nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tadeo Distiratsu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Anastasio Maldonado was out of position in the 83 minute of play, and Wilfredo Gitano capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Wilfredo Gitano really showed his touch with that goal: 3-3. After a rather tough play, Jarana FC's Sigve Rossland got a free kick in the 88th minute. Anastasio Maldonado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilfredo Gitano in the 95th minute of play. Jarana FC's Wilfredo Gitano managed to work through Falckner FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Wilfredo Gitano dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. The score was 3-3 after 90 minutes, which forced the match into extra-time.

After the break the players went out on the field to play the first half of overtime with revived energy in their legs. Falckner FC's Gianluca Vialli started the play with the initial kick off. If Gilberto Librado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 102nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 104 minutes into the game, Andres Maiorga threw the ball into play from the sideline. Jarana FC's Qiao Jian Ping quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Falckner FC's Andres Maiorga managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Qiao Jian Ping in the 108 minute of the game. The Falckner FC players wondered just what they needed to do win this one. 105 minutes had now been played and the teams were still tied. Penalties were starting to look likely.

Both teams seemed ready to fight when Jarana FC's Aurelio Harriet did the kick off and started the second half in the overtime. A collision led to Falckner FC getting a freekick after 118 minutes play. Andres Maiorga hit a great ball. In the 124th minute Wilfredo Gitano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anastasio Maldonado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 124 minutes, Urbano Shantala mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Falckner FC and the Jarana FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 124th minute, Urbano Shantala hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anastasio Maldonado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelio Harriet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Neither team seemed willing to take risks during extra-time and the defenses won out. The match would now go to a penalty shoot-out.

The referee gave Falckner FC a penalty, 140 minutes into the game. The referee gave Jarana FC a penalty, 152 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Cornelio Beltxe, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Falckner FC's Anastasio Maldonado. 8-9. Jarana FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
