In the 12th minute, Luciano Rodríguez made a precise shot to the right of Markus Sirait. PHOENIX SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. GD Almargense's Laureano Madruga got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Markus Sirait made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luciano Rodríguez in the 26th minute of play. A collision led to GD Almargense getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Igor Matanović hit a great ball. Micael Torcato took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ishaq Afiff, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 30 minutes, Olívio Esteves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GD Almargense and the PHOENIX SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 30th minute, Olívio Esteves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luciano Rodríguez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Markus Sirait having to interfere. After a rather tough play, GD Almargense's Igor Matanović got a free kick in the 44th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. PHOENIX SC's Deden Amiruddin was substituted for Asep Ridholhaqqi. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Homero Bessa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. GD Almargense walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
