Freddie Ahlbeck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sivert Hultin in the 33rd minute of the match. Stig-Åke Brolin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Freddie Ahlbeck made a huge save. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 36th minute of the game. One of вιℓтємα:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ytterby FF:s goal. The goalkeeper, Freddie Ahlbeck, was totally fooled by Ytterby FF's Edward Uggla, who 38 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After a rather tough play, Ytterby FF's Stig-Åke Brolin got a free kick in the 41st minute. вιℓтємα's Albin Hökkvist was substituted for Dan Lindström. вιℓтємα's Bengt-Arne Abrahamsson was substituted for Marc Ekegren. After 98 played minutes, вιℓтємα's Claes Almkvist shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lennart Klementsson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in вιℓтємα reached it. 99 minutes into the game, Claes Almkvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. вιℓтємα's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ytterby FF the free kick. That meant the players faced another 30 minutes of extra-time.

After the break the players went out on the field to play the first half of overtime with revived energy in their legs. вιℓтємα's Karl Nyberg started the play with the initial kick off. The referee ignored Ytterby FF's protests and gave Jerry Svartengren a yellow card for diving instead. After 116 played minutes Ytterby FF got a freekick which was hit by Jerry Svartengren. In the 116th minute of the match Henning Markusson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lennart Klementsson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the referee signaled the end of the first half of extra-time the score was 1-1. The players had a chance to rest for a moment before the second half.

If Karl Nyberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 122nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henning Markusson in the 135th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lennart Klementsson saved Ytterby FF from getting behind. Mårten Colin hit a great freekick 136 minutes into the match. Defensive play by both the teams in the second half of extra-time meant the match finished 1-1. The game would now be decided on penalties.

In the 140th minute there was a penalty for вιℓтємα. Henning Markusson stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Lennart Klementsson. 2-2. In the 143rd minute there was a penalty for вιℓтємα. Karl Nyberg stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Lennart Klementsson. 3-3. The referee gave Ytterby FF a penalty, 147 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jerry Svartengren, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of вιℓтємα's Freddie Ahlbeck. 5-3. In the 148th minute there was a penalty for вιℓтємα. Bengt-Rune Åkesson stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Lennart Klementsson. 5-4. The referee gave Ytterby FF a penalty, 149 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Aleix Ygnacio, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of вιℓтємα's Freddie Ahlbeck. 6-4. Ytterby FF's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
