Nicanor Micael could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Patrick Armstrong made a huge save. Patrick Armstrong came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by El fortinero's Nicanor Micael. But to his dismay, Nicanor Micael quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. When Robert Ununger came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the ManagerZone Crew fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robert Ununger couldn't finish the play. 23 minutes into the match, El fortinero's goal looked a bit too open when Thorbjörn Olerius came free, but Ivan Cedro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st match minute, ManagerZone Crew was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcus Majewski to maneuver through the defense. Robert Ununger hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Peter Linkhorst managed to get in a good position for a shot. ManagerZone Crew's supporters rose to their feet, but Peter Linkhorst was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivan Cedro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 41st minute Eulalio Martxot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrick Armstrong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicanor Micael to make the kick off. Patrick Armstrong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicanor Micael in the 57th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, ManagerZone Crew's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Sol came free, but Patrick Armstrong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernabe Orzaize kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in El fortinero's zone, Adrian Våleman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivan Cedro came out of the goal and Adrian Våleman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Patrick Armstrong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicanor Micael, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Peter Linkhorst could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Ivan Cedro made a huge save. 71 minutes into the match, ManagerZone Crew's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Sol came free, but Patrick Armstrong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Peter Linkhorst managed to get in a good position for a shot. ManagerZone Crew's supporters rose to their feet, but Peter Linkhorst was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patrick Armstrong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Sol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peter Linkhorst who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 78thth minute tested the skills of Ivan Cedro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in El fortinero's zone, Peter Linkhorst stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivan Cedro came out of the goal and Peter Linkhorst tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of ManagerZone Crew booed when El fortinero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseo Sol didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th match minute, El fortinero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodoro Chano to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicanor Micael in the 91st minute of play forced ManagerZone Crew's goalkeeper Patrick Armstrong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Thorbjörn Olerius fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ManagerZone Crew's protests and gave Thorbjörn Olerius a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to ManagerZone Crew getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Thorbjörn Olerius hit a great ball. Andreas Sjöstrand lost his temper 94 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 94 minutes into the game, one of ManagerZone Crew:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 97th minute El fortinero were awarded a corner. Jairo Liberto went to the cornerflag to take it. El fortinero's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
