Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Evelio Firme got the match started through his kick off. Tellier's Placido Lucero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 25th minute of play. When Tinko Nonev fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tellier's protests and gave Tinko Nonev a yellow card for diving instead. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Tellier defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Placido Lucero. The Tellier fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Placido Lucero should have stopped the shot. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Álvaro Morales, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Tellier was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artemio Gaxan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Placido Lucero came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. When Agustín Saelices fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. Agustín Saelicess short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Placido Lucero to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 58 minutes into the match, Tellier's goalkeeper Placido Lucero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. An annoying self made goal, 0-5. Placido Lucero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 96th minute. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Tellier.
