The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 7 minutes into the match, Parque Europa FC's goalkeeper Gero Casta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernt Ersman. Cordairo Torrente blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gottfrid Kullander having to make a save. Gottfrid Kullander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cordairo Torrente, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Gero Casta came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Hummerfiskarna's Bernt Ersman. But to his dismay, Bernt Ersman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Gottfrid Kullander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cordairo Torrente in the 20th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Parque Europa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Göran Östlund came free, but Gero Casta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Parque Europa FC's Selmo Alabern got a free kick in the 26th minute. If Bernt Ersman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A sloppy throw-in by Jonatan Smedfeldt in the 30th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Parque Europa FC's Sabino Mayor. Kurt Vallander kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Omar Vila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gottfrid Kullander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omar Vila in the 32nd minute of play. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hummerfiskarna's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Omar Vila was slow to take the kick. During this time Parque Europa FC's players had a chance to rest. Omar Vila made a great header on Parque Europa FC's corner, it was just that Hummerfiskarna's Gottfrid Kullander managed to reach the ball for a save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Cordairo Torrente made the kick off in the second half. Gottfrid Kullander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roldán Treviño in the 52nd minute of play. A collision led to Parque Europa FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Mario Verdaguer hit a great ball. Göran Östlund might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gero Casta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Göran Östlund ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Hummerfiskarna defense, Cordairo Torrente kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gottfrid Kullander. The Hummerfiskarna fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gottfrid Kullander should have stopped the shot. Parque Europa FC's Valery Cardeñosa was substituted for Roldán Treviño. Parque Europa FC made a substitution. Santi Dobale replaced Omar Vila. In the 82nd minute Bernt Ersman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gero Casta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonatan Smedfeldt made in the 93rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Kurt Vallander immediately put the ball in play. Rosario Flores hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The referee's whistle sounded for the end of the second half. The match was tied at 1-1. None of the players looked happy at the prospect of extra-time.

The players didn't get much rest, but they still tried to pep each other up as they lined up for the first half in overtime. Hummerfiskarna's Göran Östlund started the play with his kick off. When Mario Verdaguer fell near the penalty area in the 109th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Parque Europa FC's protests and gave Mario Verdaguer a yellow card for diving instead. Mario Verdaguer kicked well hit freekick during the 110th minute of the match.

The players looked a little tired but resolute before the second half of the overtime, where Israel Vagrande took the kick off. Eric Lövgren hit a great freekick 119 minutes into the match. After 126 minutes, Carmelo Olano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Parque Europa FC and the Hummerfiskarna players grew even worse after the yellow card. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Hummerfiskarna had held the ball for most of the match.
