Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nahuel Unger started the match with the kick off. Zarpas Fevre hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Academia Juvenil Wenumapu's zone, Edmundo Espiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Saúl Cortés came out of the goal and Edmundo Espiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Academia Juvenil Wenumapu booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Navarro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Esteban Carvallo kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. When Honduras's Edmundo Espiga in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Academia Juvenil Wenumapu's goalie prevented a goal. Luca Espinar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Saúl Cortés having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Nahuel Unger kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lautaro Navarro. That made the score 1-0 in the 17 minute of play. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nahuel Unger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nahuel Unger in the 24th minute of the match. In the 26th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Milagros Cabal to maneuver through the defense. Héctor David Pechini took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 28th minute of the match Academia Juvenil Wenumapu got a corner. Honduras's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Héctor David Pechini ran over to the corner to take the kick. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Espiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlos Saúl Cortés was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Saúl Cortés prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Honduras's Lautaro Navarro got control of the ball when Salvatore Gandarillas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timeteo Rondizzoni in the 40th minute of play. In the 42nd minute of the match Academia Juvenil Wenumapu got a corner. The corner led Academia Juvenil Wenumapu's Héctor David Pechini to fire away a dangerous shot which Lautaro Navarro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A collision led to Academia Juvenil Wenumapu getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Nahuel Unger hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edmundo Espiga made a kick off. Salvatore Gandarillas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lautaro Navarro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viviano Mallea in the 54th minute of play. In the 57th minute of the game Jose Maria Jaramillo made a throw-in which Viviano Mallea played forward. In the 57th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteban Carvallo to maneuver through the defense. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abelado Pazols in the 59th minute of play. In the 69th minute Nahuel Unger suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. Luca Espinar charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Luca Espinar hit a great ball. If Timeteo Rondizzoni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Espiga in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Saúl Cortés saved Academia Juvenil Wenumapu from getting behind. In the 75th minute, Viviano Mallea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timeteo Rondizzoni in the 80th minute of play. Edmundo Espiga kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. 83 minutes in the game Valentín Carvallo did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Christian Sancho. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Saúl Cortés prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edmundo Espiga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Salvatore Gandarillas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 90 minutes, Salvatore Gandarillas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Academia Juvenil Wenumapu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Salvatore Gandarillas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 92 minutes, Salvatore Gandarillas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Honduras players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
