The Husaria Tarnów fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wladyslaw Wietrzychowski should have stopped the shot. 23 minutes into the match, Saco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Moura came free, but Phillip Glerum reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Saco FC's Phillip Glerum got control of the ball when Cavad Lider tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Linus Resentvig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cavad Lider scored 3-1 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Phillip Glerum, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cavad Lider was the one to do the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Husaria Tarnów's goalkeeper Wladyslaw Wietrzychowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Linus Resentvig. Husaria Tarnów's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antonio Alzamendi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Husaria Tarnów's Jedrzej Domeradzki was substituted for Miroslaw Mondrowski. Saco FC's Peter-Jan De Brouwer got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 87 minutes of play, Saco FC's Linus Resentvig made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wladyslaw Wietrzychowski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Husaria Tarnów made a substitution. Borys Hodyl replaced Tobiasz Sroka. In the 92nd minute, Antonio Alzamendi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ricardo Bochini's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wladyslaw Wietrzychowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Husaria Tarnów's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
