The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Benjamin Vollmaris fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Randers A.F.C.'s protests and gave Benjamin Vollmaris a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Randers A.F.C.'s Benjamin Vollmaris got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 5th minute Mariano Tino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nichlas Vesterdahl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, EL COCO's goal looked a bit too open when Rene Rostholm came free, but Emiliano Gabino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rene Rostholm might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emiliano Gabino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rene Rostholm ran back to his position shaking his head. Emiliano Gabino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rene Rostholm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rene Rostholm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rene Rostholm blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emiliano Gabino having to make a save. Emiliano Gabino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rene Rostholm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Arnaldo Isauro could shoot a difficult shot in the 22nd minute, which Nichlas Vesterdahl however easily saved by the left post. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind EL COCO's goalkeeper Emiliano Gabino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nichlas Vesterdahl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Tino in the 25th minute of the match. Rene Rostholm took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emiliano Gabino. Emiliano Gabino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Rene Rostholm struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Emiliano Gabino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Randers A.F.C.. Emiliano Gabino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rene Rostholm, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. 43 minutes into the match, EL COCO's goal looked a bit too open when Rene Rostholm came free, but Emiliano Gabino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Rene Rostholm had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emiliano Gabino. EL COCO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rene Rostholm was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. The EL COCO players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Randers A.F.C. were winning 0-4.

Rene Rostholms short, quick shot in the 51stth minute got Emiliano Gabino to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Rene Rostholm might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emiliano Gabino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The corner led Randers A.F.C.'s Arthur Shelby to fire away a dangerous shot which Emiliano Gabino despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of Randers A.F.C. booed when EL COCO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ildefonso Rufio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Grisha Mbappè notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of EL COCO's Emiliano Gabino. Emiliano Gabino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the EL COCO defense, Grisha Mbappè kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emiliano Gabino. The EL COCO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emiliano Gabino should have stopped the shot. If Grisha Mbappè had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. EL COCO's Emiliano Gabino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grisha Mbappè in the 87th minute of play. Mariano Tino charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mariano Tino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 88th match minute, EL COCO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariano Tino to maneuver through the defense. Humberto Maidana kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Grisha Mbappè recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Børge Buhr took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 93rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Emiliano Gabino. EL COCO's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Arnaldo Isauro kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Emiliano Gabino was a little too slow when Grisha Mbappè got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 94th minute. The score was now 0-9. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Randers A.F.C. had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
