An unexpectedly hard shot by Rähim Sterling in the 5th minute of play forced Hisingen IK's goalkeeper Edgar Ström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Garphyttan booed when Hisingen IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robin Sjöberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Hisingen IK's Edgar Ström got control of the ball when Donato de Salles tried to sneak it across the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Hisingen IK's goal looked a bit too open when Donato de Salles came free, but Edgar Ström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Garphyttan's Erik Skog played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vilhelm Bokelund in the 15th minute of play. Hisingen IK's Mattias Gabrielsson was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Erik Skog in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Edgar Ström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato de Salles in the 18th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jarl Stålman in the 20th minute of play forced Garphyttan's goalkeeper Erik Skog to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22ndth minute of the game Rähim Sterling who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hisingen IK's Edgar Ström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rähim Sterling spun around in front of the goal 23 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Hisingen IK's goal. In the 26th minute, Garphyttan's Donato de Salles ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Edgar Ström. Edgar Ström yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernt Vennerkvist in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erik Skog saved Garphyttan from getting behind. Edgar Ström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato de Salles in the 32nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Casper Eckegren in the 34th minute of play forced Garphyttan's goalkeeper Erik Skog to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgar Ström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viktor Albäck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ludwig Smedfeldt took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erik Skog. Erik Skog dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 42 minutes into the match, Hisingen IK's goal looked a bit too open when Viktor Albäck came free, but Edgar Ström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, Viktor Albäck dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Edgar Ström, 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bernt Vennerkvist was the one to do the kick off. Edgar Ström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato de Salles in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 52nd minute, Donato de Salles ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edgar Ström was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Garphyttan were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after Hisingen IK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Michael Kvalfält took the corner. Garphyttan's Michael Kvalfält was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Edgar Ström in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernt Vennerkvist got free with Erik Skog in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 63rd minute Donato de Salles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Ström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgar Ström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato de Salles in the 66th minute of play. Edgar Ström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viktor Albäck, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. 70 minutes into the game, Casper Eckegren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hisingen IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Garphyttan the free kick. After 70 played minutes Hisingen IK got a freekick which was hit by Casper Eckegren. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viktor Albäck in the 71st minute of play forced Hisingen IK's goalkeeper Edgar Ström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hisingen IK's Edgar Ström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donato de Salles in the 73rd minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Garphyttan's goal looked a bit too open when Bernt Vennerkvist came free, but Erik Skog reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erik Skog made an important save on a dangerous shot by Casper Eckegren in the 74th minute. After some careless play in the Garphyttan defense, Stig Säf kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erik Skog. The Garphyttan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erik Skog should have stopped the shot. Garphyttan made a substitution. Albin Bergström replaced Donato de Salles. Garphyttan's Algot Ahlfors was substituted for Viktor Albäck. Stig Säf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Erik Skog tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edgar Ström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albin Bergström in the 93rd minute of the match. In the 94th minute, Stig Säf left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hisingen IK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Garphyttan players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
