He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Severiano Rafe. After 20 minutes of play, PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN's Leo Schuhmacher made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Severiano Rafe was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Madison's Anacleto Lawrence got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 26th minute, Leo Schuhmacher got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Severiano Rafe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Irinel Stănilă in the 34th minute of play. Severiano Rafe was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Irinel Stănilă showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-0 in the 34 minute of play. PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN's Karl-Ove Holm got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN's Cristian Minteuan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN from getting a goal against them. In the 56th minute Claudiu Blajovan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severiano Rafe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leo Schuhmacher in the 57th minute of play forced Madison's goalkeeper Severiano Rafe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leo Schuhmacher might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Severiano Rafe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leo Schuhmacher ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 66th minute, Karl-Ove Holm left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Cristian Minteuan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Humberto Eliu in the 83rd minute. In the 87th minute, Humberto Eliu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Madison's supporters rose to their feet, but Nunez Guillelmus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristian Minteuan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN had played much better football throughout.
