Fabinho Pitta started the match with the kick off. Jimeno Velasco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabinho Pitta, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Jimeno Velasco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabinho Pitta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Engineers's Kieran Floyd played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valter Festas in the 17th minute of play. Kieran Floyd made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valter Festas in the 18th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, MKS Legion Częstochowa's goal looked a bit too open when Fabinho Pitta came free, but Jimeno Velasco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When The Engineers's Fabinho Pitta in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MKS Legion Częstochowa's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as MKS Legion Częstochowa's Czeslaw Kostrzewski slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kieran Floyd. That made the score 1-0 after 26 minutes of play. Valter Festas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Kieran Floyd tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, The Engineers's goalkeeper Kieran Floyd had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zachary Naskrent. MKS Legion Częstochowa's Jimeno Velasco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabinho Pitta in the 36th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, The Engineers's goal looked a bit too open when Valter Festas came free, but Kieran Floyd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, The Engineers's Kieran Floyd got control of the ball when Zachary Naskrent tried to sneak it across the goal line. MKS Legion Częstochowa's Zachariasz Zecman was substituted for Napoleon Chlebek. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valter Festas was the one to do the kick off. Valter Festas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jimeno Velasco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Seyfi Türk in the 59th minute. Valter Festas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Kieran Floyd tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kieran Floyd made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Czeslaw Kostrzewski in the 75th minute of play. Jimeno Velasco made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Fabinho Pitta sent off a good shot on target. Kieran Floyd came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by MKS Legion Częstochowa's Valter Festas. But to his dismay, Valter Festas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabinho Pitta in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jimeno Velasco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 87 minutes, Zühtü Celvet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Engineers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zühtü Celvet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jimeno Velasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zühtü Celvet in the 89th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Czeslaw Kostrzewski in the 93rd minute of play forced The Engineers's goalkeeper Kieran Floyd to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 95 minutes The Engineers's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rafal Gmoch who took care of the corner kick. Emanuel Durães was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The Engineers's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
