The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sebastián Boselli hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Madison's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Faustino Avellaneda in the 16th minute. Madison's Faustino Avellaneda was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Justo Ruy in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Justo Ruy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hernan Uzuri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Madison's Severiano Rafe got control of the ball when Leonardo Salvino tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benito Naldo in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Justo Ruy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Justo Ruy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvano Polentzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. NUMBA's Justo Ruy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benito Naldo in the 31st minute of play. In the 34thth minute of the game Benito Naldo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but NUMBA's Justo Ruy was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hernan Uzuri kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, NUMBA's Bernardo Quinten got a free kick in the 42nd minute. A collision led to NUMBA getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Isaac Fernado hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Benito Naldo made the kick off in the second half. Severiano Rafe came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by NUMBA's Bernardo Quinten. But to his dismay, Bernardo Quinten quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Leonardo Salvino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Severiano Rafe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th minute Leonardo Salvino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severiano Rafe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacobo Magdaleno took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Severiano Rafe. Severiano Rafe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Madison's Anacleto Lawrence was substituted for Domingo Vedillo. After 75 played minutes NUMBA got a freekick which was hit by Isaac Fernado. The crowd rose to their feet as Aristides Lorencio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Justo Ruy. That made the score 2-2 in the 80 minute of play. Madison's Severiano Rafe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Salvino in the 84th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Bernardo Quinten's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Severiano Rafe was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. If Hernan Uzuri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Jacobo Magdaleno managed to get in a good position for a shot. NUMBA's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacobo Magdaleno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Severiano Rafe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 88 minutes into the match, Bernardo Quinten had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Severiano Rafe. Madison's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bernardo Quinten was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. After 90 played minutes Madison got a freekick which was hit by Silvano Polentzi. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Madison's goalkeeper Severiano Rafe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Severiano Rafe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Salvino in the 93rd minute of the match. Aristides Lorencio came free with the goalkeeper in the 95th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Justo Ruy could save by the left post. With a little luck, NUMBA's Justo Ruy got control of the ball when Aristides Lorencio tried to sneak it across the goal line. NUMBA's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
