Krzysztof Kluska could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Kieran Floyd made a huge save. Seyfi Türk struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Mateusz Marchewka didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Engineers. After having played for 14 minutes, Robertas Lewandowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zielonka Gdansk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robertas Lewandowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 16 minutes into the match, Zielonka Gdansk's goal looked a bit too open when Fabinho Pitta came free, but Mateusz Marchewka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute The Engineers were awarded a corner. Eddy Beckett went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on The Engineers's corner Eddy Beckett fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mateusz Marchewka quite easily take care of the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Zielonka Gdansk's goal looked a bit too open when Fabinho Pitta came free, but Mateusz Marchewka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When The Engineers's Fabinho Pitta in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Zielonka Gdansk's goalie prevented a goal. 22 minutes into the game, The Engineers's Ludomir Bartochowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mateusz Marchewka made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Kieran Floyd made an important save on a dangerous shot by Krzysztof Kluska in the 27th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabinho Pitta in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mateusz Marchewka saved Zielonka Gdansk from getting behind. Mateusz Marchewka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabinho Pitta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabinho Pitta in the 31st minute of play forced Zielonka Gdansk's goalkeeper Mateusz Marchewka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kieran Floyd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robertas Lewandowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. The supporters of Zielonka Gdansk booed when The Engineers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eddy Beckett didn't get a good kick on the ball. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Krzysztof Kluska to make the kick off. After 52 minutes, Fabinho Pitta made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Zielonka Gdansk's Mateusz Marchewka tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 55 minutes into the match, The Engineers's Fabinho Pitta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mateusz Marchewka narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tobiasz Gdowik hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Fabinho Pitta's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 60thth minute, Mateusz Marchewka skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 63rdth minute of the game Robertas Lewandowski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but The Engineers's Kieran Floyd was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Kryspin Puchlik fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zielonka Gdansk's protests and gave Kryspin Puchlik a yellow card for diving instead. Kryspin Puchlik hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Fabinho Pitta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zielonka Gdansk's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kryspin Puchlik in the 72nd minute. A nice corner shot did that Kryspin Puchlik got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Kieran Floyd quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabinho Pitta in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mateusz Marchewka prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Fabinho Pitta put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Mateusz Marchewka. Mateusz Marchewka stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabinho Pitta's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. The Engineers's Kieran Floyd played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robertas Lewandowski in the 79th minute of play. After 83 minutes of play, Zielonka Gdansk's Robertas Lewandowski made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kieran Floyd was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mateusz Marchewka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabinho Pitta, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 89th match minute, The Engineers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zühtü Celvet to maneuver through the defense. Kieran Floyd showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robertas Lewandowski in the 91st minute of the match. Zielonka Gdansk's Mateusz Marchewka proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Zielonka Gdansk from getting a goal against them.
