The audience thought a goal was coming when Robertas Lewandowski got free with Severiano Rafe in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Krzysztof Kluska recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Madison's Silvano Polentzi got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tobiasz Gdowik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severiano Rafe having to interfere. Madison's Severiano Rafe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Madison from getting a goal against them. Benito Naldo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mateusz Marchewka read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Zielonka Gdansk's goal looked a bit too open when Benito Naldo came free, but Mateusz Marchewka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mateusz Marchewka stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benito Naldo's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Tobiasz Czempa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Severiano Rafe, 1-0. 22 minutes into the game, Zielonka Gdansk's Robertas Lewandowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Severiano Rafe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. When Madison's Benito Naldo in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Zielonka Gdansk's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Madison's zone, Tobiasz Gdowik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severiano Rafe came out of the goal and Tobiasz Gdowik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 31st minute, Robertas Lewandowski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Severiano Rafe was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Robertas Lewandowski hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Zielonka Gdansk's zone, Benito Naldo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mateusz Marchewka came out of the goal and Benito Naldo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mateusz Marchewka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benito Naldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Mateusz Marchewka stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hernan Uzuri's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Silvano Polentzi charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silvano Polentzi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 45th minute, Aristides Lorencio made a precise shot to the right of Mateusz Marchewka. Zielonka Gdansk's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benito Naldo was the one to do the kick off. Severiano Rafe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robertas Lewandowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 50th minute. Sebastián Boselli kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. When Benito Naldo came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Madison fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benito Naldo couldn't finish the play. When Madison's Benito Naldo in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristides Lorencio in the 60th minute of play forced Zielonka Gdansk's goalkeeper Mateusz Marchewka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Zielonka Gdansk's Mateusz Marchewka got control of the ball when Benito Naldo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Madison made a substitution. Anacleto Lawrence replaced Domingo Vedillo. Tobiasz Czempa charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tobiasz Czempa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 74 played minutes Zielonka Gdansk got a freekick which was hit by Tobiasz Czempa. Madison's Severiano Rafe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobiasz Gdowik in the 78th minute of play. After 88 played minutes Madison got a freekick which was hit by Hernan Uzuri. 92 minutes into the game, Tobiasz Czempa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Severiano Rafe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zielonka Gdansk's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
