But to his dismay, Elliot Högman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 29 minutes into the match, Los Colegas del Barrio's goal looked a bit too open when Elliot Högman came free, but Pelayo Vazquez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute, Frodo Quintero reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Einar Jernberg. The goal made the score 1-1. A collision led to Los Colegas del Barrio getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Gai Teruel hit a great ball. In the 40thth minute of the game Elliot Högman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Colegas del Barrio's Pelayo Vazquez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After 54 minutes, Elliot Högman made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Los Colegas del Barrio's Pelayo Vazquez tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Frodo Quintero came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Los Colegas del Barrio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frodo Quintero couldn't finish the play. Los Colegas del Barrio made a substitution. Josepe Mangas replaced Cordarin Silva. Los Colegas del Barrio's Evangelista Ricoy was substituted for Olaf Iniesta. Frodo Quintero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Einar Jernberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
