Hugo Neiva helped the player get up and apologised. In the 5th match minute, Alfa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Neiva to maneuver through the defense. Falcão Garcia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedrinho de Queirós having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Falcão Garcia in the 11th minute of play forced Alfa FC's goalkeeper Pedrinho de Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13thth minute of the game Vitório Pimenta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alfa FC's Pedrinho de Queirós was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tiago Gabriel Cabral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maurício de Lara in the 16th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After 51 minutes, Falcão Garcia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vae Victis!! and the Alfa FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Alfa FC booed when Vae Victis!! was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Falcão Garcia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bebeto Dantas's late challenge caught a Alfa FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The referee ignored Alfa FC's protests and gave Maurício de Lara a yellow card for diving instead. After 73 played minutes Alfa FC got a freekick which was hit by Maurício de Lara. Tiago Gabriel Cabral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leandro Camargo, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Maurício de Lara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Tiago Gabriel Cabral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vitório Pimenta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedrinho de Queirós having to make a save. Alfa FC's Pedrinho de Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitório Pimenta in the 86th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Greg Moore could shoot a difficult shot in the 87th minute, which Pedrinho de Queirós however easily saved by the left post. Tiago Gabriel Cabral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferreirinha Vinhas, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 94th minute, Ferreirinha Vinhas made a precise shot to the right of Tiago Gabriel Cabral. Vae Victis!!'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. There was no doubt that Alfa FC were the better team. Alfa FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
