Falcão Garcia started the match with the kick off. Manu Smets received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Tiago Gabriel Cabral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 7 minutes into the match, Royal Knights FC's Carlos Lima sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tiago Gabriel Cabral narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tiago Gabriel Cabral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hudson Pires, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Lima in the 12th minute of play forced Vae Victis!!'s goalkeeper Tiago Gabriel Cabral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ezequiel Hermes's late challenge caught a Royal Knights FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ezequiel Hermes helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Royal Knights FC booed when Vae Victis!! was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ezequiel Hermes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Vae Victis!!'s goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Lima came free, but Tiago Gabriel Cabral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 21 played minutes Vae Victis!! got a freekick which was hit by Ezequiel Hermes. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vitório Pimenta in the 24th minute of play forced Royal Knights FC's goalkeeper Cristo Cordara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Falcão Garcia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Cristo Cordara made a huge save. Falcão Garcias short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Cristo Cordara to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Carlos Lima came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Royal Knights FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Lima couldn't finish the play. Vae Victis!!'s Tiago Gabriel Cabral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manu Smets in the 37th minute of play. In the 39th minute Hudson Pires shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiago Gabriel Cabral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Vae Victis!!'s goal looked a bit too open when Hudson Pires came free, but Tiago Gabriel Cabral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tiago Gabriel Cabral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manu Smets in the 46th minute of play. Falcão Garcia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carlos Lima stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Royal Knights FC's Carlos Lima ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tiago Gabriel Cabral. Tiago Gabriel Cabral yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. Manu Smetss short, quick shot in the 60thth minute got Tiago Gabriel Cabral to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Cristo Cordara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juninho Lopes, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. If Carlos Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ezequiel Hermes hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute, Manu Smets fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Tiago Gabriel Cabral, passed just outside the right post. After 69 played minutes Vae Victis!! got a freekick which was hit by Ezequiel Hermes. Vae Victis!!'s Greg Moore was substituted for Falcão Garcia. Ezequiel Hermes kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Cristo Cordara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vitório Pimenta in the 71st minute of play. Tiago Gabriel Cabral made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manu Smets in the 72nd minute. A collision led to Vae Victis!! getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Reginaldo Linares hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Vae Victis!!'s Reginaldo Linares got a free kick in the 76th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hudson Pires got free with Tiago Gabriel Cabral in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A nice corner shot did that Carlos Lima got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tiago Gabriel Cabral quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a little luck, Vae Victis!!'s Tiago Gabriel Cabral got control of the ball when Hudson Pires tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 92nd match minute, Vae Victis!! was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolfo Fernandes to maneuver through the defense. Royal Knights FC's Carlos Lima couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Vae Victis!!. In the 95th minute, Bebeto Dantas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
