Valdir Magalhães's late challenge caught a Compostela FSCMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valdir Magalhães helped the player get up and apologised. After 25 played minutes Compostela FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Evandro Bastos. In the 32nd match minute, Compostela FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jefferson Sousa to maneuver through the defense. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Otto Gol was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Tomás Peixoto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. OTTO FC - FSCMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Compostela FSCMZ the free kick. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. OTTO FC - FSCMZ had played much better football throughout.
