Shark FC - FSCMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dedé Pimenta in the 13th minute. The corner ended in Dedé Pimenta almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Alfa FC's Pedrinho de Queirós did a great save. Márcio Garcia struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Pedrinho de Queirós didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Shark FC - FSCMZ. During the 17th minute of the match Enéas Bezerra completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Enéas Bezerra a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alfa FC's goalkeeper Pedrinho de Queirós, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pedrinho de Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Márcio Garcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Alfa FC's Pedrinho de Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Márcio Garcia in the 28th minute of play. The corner led Shark FC - FSCMZ's Dedé Pimenta to fire away a dangerous shot which Pedrinho de Queirós despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ferreirinha Vinhas hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Shark FC - FSCMZ fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 37th minute. Penalty! Ian Siqueira had in the 39thth minute some difficulties stopping Geovani Viana's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After some careless play in the Shark FC - FSCMZ defense, Geovani Viana kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ian Siqueira. The Shark FC - FSCMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ian Siqueira should have stopped the shot. In the 42nd minute Geovani Viana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ian Siqueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Alfa FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Geovani Viana hit a great ball. Pedrinho de Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Márcio Garcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Márcio Garcia to make the kick off. When Márcio Garcia came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Shark FC - FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Márcio Garcia couldn't finish the play. When Sandrinho Godoi fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alfa FC's protests and gave Sandrinho Godoi a yellow card for diving instead. Sandrinho Godoi hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 56th minute, Dedé Pimenta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 61 minutes into the game, Márcio Garcia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Dedé Pimenta's late challenge caught a Alfa FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Shark FC - FSCMZ's Ian Siqueira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Shark FC - FSCMZ from getting a goal against them. In the 79thth minute of the game Márcio Garcia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alfa FC's Pedrinho de Queirós was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Maurício de Lara charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maurício de Lara the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 79 played minutes Alfa FC got a freekick which was hit by Maurício de Lara. The supporters of Alfa FC booed when Shark FC - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Sharkin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dedé Pimenta in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedrinho de Queirós prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Shark FC - FSCMZ fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when Shark FC - FSCMZ's Márcio Garcia looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Maurício de Lara kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leandro Camargo got free with Ian Siqueira in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 95 played minutes Shark FC - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Diguinho Velasco. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Shark FC - FSCMZ had won after a very even match.
