Pedrinho de Queirós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 10 minutes had been played when some careless play by Alfa FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Carlos Lima was slow to take the kick. During this time Royal Knights FC's players had a chance to rest. Carlos Lima made a great header on Royal Knights FC's corner, it was just that Alfa FC's Pedrinho de Queirós managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 11th match minute, Royal Knights FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcel Corrêa to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th match minute, Alfa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciro Luz to maneuver through the defense. Maurício de Lara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Cristo Cordara made a huge save. Geovani Viana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Royal Knights FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Marcel Corrêa hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferreirinha Vinhas in the 44th minute of play forced Royal Knights FC's goalkeeper Cristo Cordara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

A nice corner shot did that Maurício de Lara got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Cristo Cordara quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The corner led to Alfa FC's Ferreirinha Vinhas getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 87th minute, Hudson Pires got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Camargo in the 93rd minute of play forced Royal Knights FC's goalkeeper Cristo Cordara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Royal Knights FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
