In the 30th match minute, Alfa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arthur Varela to maneuver through the defense. Oswaldo Trancoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Oswaldo Trancoso to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Oswaldo Trancoso made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Alfa FC's Pedrinho de Queirós tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Compostela FSCMZ's Yuri Wesley got control of the ball when Leandro Camargo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Alfa FC's zone, Oswaldo Trancoso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedrinho de Queirós came out of the goal and Oswaldo Trancoso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Compostela FSCMZ made a substitution. Aílton Baptista replaced Evandro Bastos. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maurício de Lara got free with Yuri Wesley in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pedrinho de Queirós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oswaldo Trancoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maurício de Lara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Compostela FSCMZ made a substitution. Pedro Tasso replaced Kaká Cardoso. Geovani Viana scored 2-1 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yuri Wesley, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lúcio Dantas in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedrinho de Queirós prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pedrinho de Queirós stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lúcio Dantas's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. After a rather tough play, Alfa FC's Arthur Varela got a free kick in the 89th minute. Oswaldo Trancoso struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Pedrinho de Queirós didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Compostela FSCMZ. Lúcio Dantas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedrinho de Queirós having to interfere. The Compostela FSCMZ players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
