In the 17th match minute, Royal Knights FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Lima to maneuver through the defense. Cristo Cordara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaká Botelho in the 23rd minute of play. After 24 played minutes Pura Arte F.C got a freekick which was hit by Gilvan Ortiz. A collision led to Pura Arte F.C getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Jailson Paulista hit a great ball. Cristo Cordara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Falcão Mendonça, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 31 minutes into the match, Carlos Lima notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Pura Arte F.C's Rodrigo Vidal. Rodrigo Vidal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rodrigo Vidal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Lima in the 35th minute of play. 36 minutes into the game, Marcel Corrêa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Royal Knights FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pura Arte F.C the free kick. A collision led to Royal Knights FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Marcel Corrêa hit a great ball. With a little luck, Pura Arte F.C's Rodrigo Vidal got control of the ball when Hudson Pires tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Royal Knights FC defense, Marcel Barral kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristo Cordara. The Royal Knights FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristo Cordara should have stopped the shot. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Falcão Mendonça to strike the kick off in the second half. Rodrigo Vidal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manu Smets in the 54th minute of play. In the 54th minute, Marcel Corrêa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristo Cordara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Falcão Mendonça, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Pura Arte F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Manu Smets came free, but Rodrigo Vidal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 60 minutes Pura Arte F.C's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Carlos Lima who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Carlos Lima got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rodrigo Vidal quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 62 minutes into the match, Pura Arte F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Manu Smets came free, but Rodrigo Vidal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manu Smets in the 64th minute of play forced Pura Arte F.C's goalkeeper Rodrigo Vidal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodrigo Vidal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th minute Royal Knights FC were awarded a corner. Carlos Lima went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Arne Röspel heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Rodrigo Vidal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manu Smets in the 70th minute of play. Pura Arte F.C's Rodrigo Vidal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manu Smets in the 77th minute of play. In the 84th minute, Caio Barros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Pura Arte F.C booed when Royal Knights FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hudson Pires didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Kaká Botelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodrigo Vidal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Pura Arte F.C players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Royal Knights FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
