Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Caco Furlan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Durvalino Carneiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 9 minutes Olímpico Blumenau FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marco Falcão who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Marco Falcão got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Caco Furlan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Itapema's Vitório Massa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Cunha in the 11th minute of play. After 13 played minutes Itapema got a freekick which was hit by Marco Falcão. Caco Furlan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amos Maietta went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet as Itapema's Alessandro Cardoso slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Caco Furlan. That made the score 2-0 after 22 minutes of play. Amos Maietta succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 26th playminute. 31 minutes into the game, Marco Falcão was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Itapema's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Olímpico Blumenau FC the free kick. Marco Falcão kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Itapema's goal looked a bit too open when Dinei Souza came free, but Vitório Massa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Durvalino Carneiro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Caco Furlan came out and tried to block the shot, but Durvalino Carneiro slotted it home off the left post making it 5-0 in the 41st minute. In the 46th minute, Angelo Cunha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vitório Massa was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1.

Caco Furlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dito Trigo in the 54th minute of play. Dieguinho Magalhães could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Vitório Massa made a huge save. 63 minutes into the match, Itapema's goal looked a bit too open when Dieguinho Magalhães came free, but Vitório Massa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 62 minutes into the game, one of Itapema:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Itapema's Vitório Massa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Itapema from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amos Maietta in the 67th minute of play forced Olímpico Blumenau FC's goalkeeper Caco Furlan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Itapema's Vitório Massa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Cunha in the 69th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Olímpico Blumenau FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alessandro Cardoso came free, but Caco Furlan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Amos Maietta put it in 7-1 from a short distance just to the right of Caco Furlan. With a little luck, Itapema's Vitório Massa got control of the ball when Dieguinho Magalhães tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 89th minute Amos Maietta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caco Furlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st minute, Amos Maietta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Itapema fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-1. 96 minutes into the match, Olímpico Blumenau FC's goal looked a bit too open when Amos Maietta came free, but Caco Furlan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Itapema fans cheered their team off the field, for while Olímpico Blumenau FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
