Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Basílio Terra to make the kick off. After 84 played minutes B-S-L got a freekick which was hit by João Adolfo Fontes. A collision led to B-S-L getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Ediberto Travassos hit a great ball. Evaristo Damião acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 86th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Dedé Pimenta. Shark FC - FSCMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dedé Pimenta in the 90th minute. After taking down the ball on Shark FC - FSCMZ's corner Dedé Pimenta fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Evaristo Damião quite easily take care of the ball. 92 minutes into the game, Jorginho Salles recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Evaristo Damião. Jorginho Salles showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. Basílio Terra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Shark FC - FSCMZ's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
