Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tiago Gabriel Cabral made an important save on a dangerous shot by Angelo Cunha in the 17th minute. In the 18th minute Angelo Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiago Gabriel Cabral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Vae Victis!!'s zone, Angelo Cunha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiago Gabriel Cabral came out of the goal and Angelo Cunha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Angelo Cunha scored 1-1 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tiago Gabriel Cabral, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 34 minutes into the match, Olímpico Blumenau FC's Angelo Cunha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tiago Gabriel Cabral narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Angelo Cunha might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tiago Gabriel Cabral. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Angelo Cunha ran back to his position shaking his head. Tiago Gabriel Cabral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Cunha, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. 42 minutes into the match, Olímpico Blumenau FC's goal looked a bit too open when Falcão Garcia came free, but Caco Furlan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dinei Souza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tiago Gabriel Cabral read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Filipe Motta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Caco Furlan made a huge save. Tiago Gabriel Cabral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Cunha, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Vae Victis!! made a substitution. Greg Moore replaced Falcão Garcia. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Angelo Cunha in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tiago Gabriel Cabral saved Vae Victis!! from getting behind. When Ademar Quintal fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Olímpico Blumenau FC's protests and gave Ademar Quintal a yellow card for diving instead. In the 86th match minute, Olímpico Blumenau FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ademar Quintal to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Emanuel Faria from long distance, 88 minutes into the match, got Caco Furlan's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 91 minutes into the match, Olímpico Blumenau FC's goalkeeper Caco Furlan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Greg Moore. Vitório Pimenta struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Caco Furlan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vae Victis!!. When the referee ended the match the Olímpico Blumenau FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
