Pedrinho de Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basílio Terra in the 35th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Basílio Terra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedrinho de Queirós was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. When Sandrinho Godoi fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ferreirinha Vinhas to make the kick off. When Ferreirinha Vinhas came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Alfa FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ferreirinha Vinhas couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurício de Lara in the 74th minute of play forced B-S-L's goalkeeper Evaristo Damião to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
