An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Cunha in the 9th minute of play forced Shark FC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Nilmar de Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Márcio Garcia scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Caco Furlan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 14th minute, Dedé Pimenta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 16 minutes, Pedro Sharkin made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Olímpico Blumenau FC's Caco Furlan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The Shark FC - FSCMZ fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when Shark FC - FSCMZ's Márcio Garcia looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Angelo Cunha to make the kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 55 minutes, Caco Furlan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Caco Furlan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Márcio Garcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Olímpico Blumenau FC's Dinei Souza got a free kick in the 61st minute. 65 minutes into the game, Dedé Pimenta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Shark FC - FSCMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Olímpico Blumenau FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Shark FC - FSCMZ's Dedé Pimenta got a free kick in the 65th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Olímpico Blumenau FC's zone, Márcio Garcia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Caco Furlan came out of the goal and Márcio Garcia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Caco Furlan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pedro Sharkin in the 87th minute. The Olímpico Blumenau FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Shark FC - FSCMZ's performance. The match ended with a win for Shark FC - FSCMZ.
