With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vitório Massa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Tomás Peixoto put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Vitório Massa. Amos Maietta took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cássio Peixoto. Cássio Peixoto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 17th match minute, OTTO FC - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lv Jing Yao to maneuver through the defense. Vitório Massa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lv Jing Yao, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute, Valdir Magalhães hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When OTTO FC - FSCMZ's Otto Gol in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Otto Gol to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Itapema's goal looked a bit too open when Lv Jing Yao came free, but Vitório Massa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Otto Gol ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to OTTO FC - FSCMZ's Fernando Pirani getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Otto Gol got free with Vitório Massa in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Otto Gol who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 73rdth minute tested the skills of Vitório Massa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of Itapema booed when OTTO FC - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonçalo Vargas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Willibald Otto hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After 86 minutes of play, OTTO FC - FSCMZ's Otto Gol made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vitório Massa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ricardinho Mesquita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
