An unexpectedly hard shot by Manu Smets in the 6th minute of play forced Compostela FSCMZ's goalkeeper Yuri Wesley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yuri Wesley came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Royal Knights FC's Manu Smets. But to his dismay, Manu Smets quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Carlos Lima kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. A collision led to Royal Knights FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Kane Richard hit a great ball. Cristo Cordara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jefferson Sousa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristo Cordara made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Evandro Bastos sent off a good shot on target. In the 18th minute Compostela FSCMZ were awarded a corner. Jefferson Sousa went to the cornerflag to take it. Compostela FSCMZ's Yuri Wesley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manu Smets in the 21st minute of play. Compostela FSCMZ were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after Royal Knights FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jefferson Sousa took the corner. Kane Richard tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Cristo Cordara. An unnecessary self made goal, 1-1 in the 35th minute. In the 39th minute Manu Smets shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yuri Wesley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcel Corrêa in the 41st minute of play forced Compostela FSCMZ's goalkeeper Yuri Wesley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Manu Smets had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yuri Wesley. Compostela FSCMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Manu Smets was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Oswaldo Trancoso hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oswaldo Trancoso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Lúcio Dantas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Compostela FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Lúcio Dantas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristo Cordara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jefferson Sousa's late challenge caught a Royal Knights FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jefferson Sousa helped the player get up and apologised. Jefferson Sousa hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Compostela FSCMZ made a substitution. Aílton Baptista replaced Evandro Bastos. Jefferson Sousa kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Royal Knights FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Compostela FSCMZ to leave the ground with a draw.
