Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Diguinho Souza started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute, João Miranda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Atlético da Colina's Carlos Germano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Atlético da Colina from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diguinho Souza in the 16th minute of play forced Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's goalkeeper Edinho Pirani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Germano stood somewhat misplaced when Aldair Orange came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 18 minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diguinho Souza in the 21st minute of play forced Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's goalkeeper Edinho Pirani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 27 played minutes Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Ezio Orange. In the 28th minute of the match Orlando Vinhas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edinho Pirani showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Edinho Pirani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diguinho Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Diguinho Souza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Edinho Pirani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diguinho Souza in the 34th minute of play. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Galo Orange managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gilberto Neves in the 35 minute of the game. The supporters of Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ booed when Atlético da Colina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilberto Neves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlos Germano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Katarínus Orange in the 37th minute of play. Diguinho Souza took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edinho Pirani. Edinho Pirani dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Atlético da Colina's Carlos Germano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Atlético da Colina from getting a goal against them. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Katarínus Orange stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute Luiz Fabiano Orange shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Germano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 53rd minute, João Miranda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Aldair Orange came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aldair Orange couldn't finish the play. Carlos Germano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luiz Fabiano Orange's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. 61 minutes had been played when some careless play by Atlético da Colina's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Aldair Orange was slow to take the kick. During this time Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's players had a chance to rest. Aldair Orange made a great header on Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's corner, it was just that Atlético da Colina's Carlos Germano managed to reach the ball for a save. Aldair Orange's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Carlos Germano - 2-2 was put on the score board in the 62nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diguinho Souza got free with Edinho Pirani in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 72nd minute Juan Orange shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Germano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Atlético da Colina's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Fabiano Orange came free, but Carlos Germano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diguinho Souza scored 2-3 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edinho Pirani, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 83 minutes into the game, Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Katarínus Orange nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlos Germano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. Diguinho Souza took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edinho Pirani. Edinho Pirani dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-4. 93 minutes into the match, Atlético da Colina's goal looked a bit too open when Katarínus Orange came free, but Carlos Germano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Ronaldão Trevisan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 94 minutes into the game, Vinícius Conceicão was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atlético da Colina's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ the free kick. After a rather tough play, Atlético da Colina's Vinícius Conceicão got a free kick in the 94th minute. The Atlético da Colina supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Atlético da Colina would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
